3. Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA)

LSEHS delivers specialised Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) services through detailed site visits, during which we review ongoing or planned work activities, operational practices, and task-specific hazards. Based on these assessments and additional relevant inputs, we prepare activity-specific HIRA documents that accurately reflect the work sequence, identify risk levels, and define the necessary controls to ensure residual risks are reduced to as low as reasonably practicable (ALARP). For organisations with existing HIRA documents, we conduct a thorough review and update them to reflect current site conditions, changes in scope, equipment, or work methodology. This ensures the HIRA remains relevant, effective, and fully compliant with organisational and regulatory requirements.
