Electric Overhead Travelling (EOT) cranes play a critical role in manufacturing, warehousing, and heavy industrial operations. However, incidents involving EOT cranes continue to result in serious injuries, fatalities, equipment damage, and costly production disruptions, most of which are preventable. Many accidents arise from inadequate operator training, poor understanding of crane limitations, incorrect rigging practices, and non-compliance with legal and safety requirements. This Training is designed to address these gaps by strengthening operator competence, reinforcing safe operating principles, and ensuring compliance with statutory provisions. The program serves as a proactive risk-control measure that protects people, assets, and improve operational reliability.

This training equips EOT crane operators with the practical knowledge and skills required to operate cranes safely and confidently. Participants gain a clear understanding of crane components, operating limits, protection devices, correct hand signals, and safe lifting practices including sling selection, sling angles, and hitch methods. The program enhances the operator’s ability to identify hazards, perform daily inspections, comply with legal requirements, and prevent lifting-related incidents.
