Electricity is an essential source of energy in industrial, commercial, and construction environments, but it also presents serious hazards when not properly managed. Electrical incidents such as electric shock, burns, arc flash, fires, and explosions can result in severe injuries, fatalities, equipment damage, and prolonged operational shutdowns. Many of these incidents occur due to inadequate awareness, unsafe work practices, improper isolation, and failure to follow statutory requirements. This Training is designed to provide participants with a clear understanding of electrical hazards, safe systems of work, isolation procedures, and emergency response measures. The program supports legal compliance, risk reduction, protection of people, and assets.

Participants develop a strong understanding of electrical hazards and the risks associated with working on or near electrical systems. The training enhances their ability to recognise unsafe conditions, follow safe operating procedures, apply correct isolation and lockout practices, and use appropriate PPE. Participants also learn how to respond effectively to electrical emergencies, reducing the likelihood of serious injury or escalation of incidents. Overall, the program builds competence, and safe behaviour, enabling participants to perform their tasks safely while protecting themselves and others.
